Thought I'd pick your brain a bit. I watched a couple random epiodes of 'Lost', and though I enjoyed them, I didn't fully understand the concept of the show. I know I could look up its premise on imdb or some such, but I think I'd rather hear it from you. How would you describe the show to a newcomer like me?
I don't know. I've lost a lot of interest in that show, because it seems like JJ Abrams is unable to complete a story. It started out that it was survivors of a plane crash stuck on a deserted island, but this last season, it's gotten crazy.
I want to lick your journal header... Is that weird? :P

*sigh* I hate it when shows plateau that way. It's such a shame. But what's with all of the flashes to different lives lived off of the island? Are those from the past or are they only in deranged minds?
Not really. I kind of want to lick it a little, too.
They're from the past, and they're supposed to answer some questions, but it's very rarely the ones you wanted to know. It's not that it plateaud, so much as JJ Abrams introduces questions and then never answers them; just keeep bringing more in. With any good story, they deal with what they have and move it along with that and then once those problems have been solved, they bring in new ones.
I mean a lot of them I can really agree with, but I really can't see how Futurama could beat 'Doctor Who'. And I was sure Heroes would be higher as well as Back to the future.
I agree that some of them should be higher, but I think that Futurama is more of an American pop culture thing than Doctor Who is. Doctor Who is mostly a BBC thing, and this is for an American magazine. I can see the point there.
Huh? Sorry, I have very limited knowledge of the chatroom stuff, and that went out of it. I could try to just say "*nod*" or something, but that wouldn't be fair. What does "nya" mean?
Odyssey5 was cancelled way back when but is by far my favourite sci-fi series ever. (It's set in Houston, and when the DVDs came out last year, the producer said their second choice for Neil - see icon, was Jensen Ackles.)
I suppose SG has always made it.
Aww...I love Galaxy Quest. Right down to every single geeky Star Trek reference. *is not geeky enough to have got most of them* *honest*
I thought so. I want to see what Jensen would have done with the role. However, growing up, Neil Taggart was my ONLY guy crush, and it might not have been with a different actor.
Although...Jensen in the wig. *beams* That would have been funny.
Tim Allen was the weakest part of the film, because that's what he always plays, but I thought the rest was fantastic meself. Ah well, life would suck if we all liked the same things, yes?
Clive Owen was Arthur, and in Children of Men (though apparently where I'm sitting right now was mentioned in that film). (Just NO!). David Caruso is in CSI:Miami and is painful to watch.

'Nya' is something I actually say out loud that can basically mean anything depending on the tone I use with it but I meant:
"I know what you mean"
Nya= gotcha (usually)
