(no subject)

I am completely done with my finals. No more papers to write. No more tests to take. I get to see Christina in 22 hours and my dogs in 27 hours. They're giving away free Jimmy John's at the bookstore and I got a t-shirt for only $5. Life is good.

Tonight, I just have to throw out all the loose garbage, clean the garbage can, dust my desks, dresser, and bookcase, and gather up all the loose ends to go. Shouldn't take too long.

The only thing that's not good is that I unplugged my television and it'd be a pain in the ass to get it set up again, so no Vampire Diaries or Nikita as they air.

Oh, and I saw this guy walking his two dogs, a pit bull and a beagle, on my way back from my last final. The pit bull was walking in the other direction, but when I started petting the beagle, he ran over to get petted. I spoke in the baby voice I use for Echo and Bowser and said "You just don't want him to get all the attention" to the pit bull. The guy said "that's exactly it" and I wanted to say "duh, I say that to my dogs all the time." Seriously, if Bowser thinks Echo's getting all the attention, he will crawl over Echo to get to me, so I know that's exactly how it is.

I know. I'm so glad I'm done. What do you mean? I think things are run differently here. After I was done with the finals, I was done with the courses. If you meant how long until I graduate, I've got another year and a half. *hugs*

So am I. I've been under so much stress with these classes and I'm so glad for a break (even if it does come with "you overdrew your account" "How many more semesters until you graduate?" "When are you going to move things out of the living room").

I was so happy when I saw my dogs. There were no judgments, no marking of territory, just happiness to see me.

Thank you! I'm looking forward to it. However, I can already tell that Christina misses being Joshua's guardian, because she started treating me like her kid as soon as we were off the campus. I get electronic statements, but she "saw that I was overdrafted" (which means she was checking at work or she and Johnny opened my mail and it wasn't on the table when I got home.

I did mean how long until you graduate--why the half? haven't you finished the second year? Or do you get your degree like we do-- six months after we finish all the obligations

My degree is in English with minors in Creative Writing and Women's Studies.

Yeah, I really hope so :) I have to bring up my GPA to 90 which is about 3.5 I think. I'm standing on 87 at the moment.

Oh that's so cool! My first degree was in Linguistics AND my mother has a doctorate in English Lit (what a coincidence ;)) *HUGS*
