No [Niki is not coming back]. But that doesn't mean we've seen the last of Ali Larter. I'm hearing that the plan as of the last time the writers met up (prestrike) was for Niki to be dead—but for an alter ego to take over. Not Jessica, not the whipped-cream chick from Varsity Blues, and that leaves...someone we've seen before. Of course, all that is subject to change due to the current holding pattern. Um... isn't it, the shell dies, the alters die? I'm not getting how Niki can be dead (the shell) and the alters live on. What are they, like Meg (from Supernatural)?

Personally, a had a theory in the beginning of season one (that might have been crushed) that basically went like this: Nikki had a sister right? Jessica. And she died. What if Jessica had a power of her own? Like some kind of necromancy or something that made her live, like a parasite of sorts, in Niki because they were so close? That was what I thought Niki's schizophrenia was in the beginning anyway.. Now am I not entirely sure... But maybe, just maybe, it's something similar? I don't know. Just guessing. I would think that if the shell dies the second person dies as well... But this is Heroes.

Good question. I have to wonder if Niki is a demon, keeping whatever shell she inhabits "alive" like the demon did with Isaac in 3x01.

unless Tim does a Joss..that could work..that when they say Niki is dead, they just mean the Niki personality, and her alter ego can live in her body which somehow survived?
does remind me of Angel, But I know you havent seen that so you maybe arnt familiar with that story line

I was thinking that maybe one of her abilities has the power to heal, so that would mean just that Niki herself is dead and that alter has the ability to live.

Maybe it's the future version of Niki that survives. That would be a cool angle.

As much as I like Niki I want to knwo when were going to get some info on Nathan. He's the one everyone really wants to know about.

I take the things that Kristen says with a grain of salt becasue she usually wrong... or her info has some truth to it but is so far off base.

You know, I think the writers love the Petrelli family. They have all of the drama written around them, which is good.
